Welcome to SGF Youth Lacrosse!

Since 2006, South Glens Falls Youth Lacrosse has been introducing young athletes to the exciting sport of lacrosse. What started with just thirteen players has grown into a thriving program dedicated to teaching boys in grades 1-6 the fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship they need to play and love the game.

Program Information

We offer age-appropriate instruction and competition for boys in grades 1-6, with programs designed to meet players at their skill level. Whether your child is picking up a stick for the first time or building on previous seasons, our experienced coaches focus on developing lacrosse fundamentals while fostering a love for the game in a fun, supportive environment.

1/2 Grades

$85

  • Practice twice weekly at Moreau Rec.
  • No Goalies, small nets, half size fields
  • Season begins the beginning of April
  • Team jersey and shorts provided
  • Game schedule to be determined

3/4 Grades

$135

  • Practice twice weekly at Moreau Rec.
  • Half size fields
  • Season begins the beginning of April
  • Team jersey, shooting shirt and shorts provided
  • Game schedule to be determined

5/6 Grades

$135

  • Practice twice weekly at Moreau Rec.
  • Full size fields
  • Season begins the beginning of April
  • Team jersey, shooting shirt and shorts provided
  • Game schedule to be determined

Registration

Registration Deadline: Sunday, February 22nd 2026


US Lacrosse Membership Required

All players must be current members of US Lacrosse and provide their membership ID number when registering.

  • Youth membership: $35/year
  • Required for insurance purposes
  • Valid for one year
